The Japanese government has approved the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties on imports of cold rolled sheets and strips of nickel-containing alloy stainless steel originating in China and Taiwan.
The measure will take effect from July 9 to November 8, 2026. The maximum rate of anti-dumping duty will be 42.1%.
According to the Japanese authorities, the investigation showed that these products were supplied at prices 20-40% below the level of Japan's domestic market, causing significant damage to the national stainless steel industry.
Friendly reminder, the price of stainless steel raw materials has increased today. We suggest that customers confirm their orders as soon as possible to maintain the best prices.
